As a Warehouse Storeperson, you will play a vital role in supporting the efficient operation of Service Stream's VRMC contract. This role requires strong organisational skills, a safety-first mindset, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. You will be responsible for receiving, storing, picking, packing, and dispatching materials while maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring a clean, safe working workplace.

Key Responsibilities

- Receive, inspect, and process incoming goods and materials.
n
- Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders and load trucks ready for dispatch.
n
- Maintain inventory accuracy through regular stock counts and cycle counts.
n
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment in a safe and compliant manner (where licensed).
n
- Ensure all warehouse areas are kept clean, organised, and compliant with safety standards.
n
- Manage documentation including delivery dockets, manifests, and inventory records.
n
- Support inventory control, stock rotation, and storage optimisation.
n
- Liaise with internal teams, drivers, and suppliers to coordinate deliveries and dispatch.
n
- Assist with loading and unloading vehicles safely and efficiently.
n
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and operational efficiency.

About You

n

n
- Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or storeperson role.
n




- Forklift licence essential, MR truck licence preferred but not essential.
n
- Strong understanding of warehouse processes including receiving, dispatch, and stock control.
n
- Experience using inventory or warehouse management systems (WMS).
n
- Ability to safely lift, move, and handle materials.
n
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
n
- Good communication skills and the ability to work with both internal and external stakeholders.
n
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
n
- Basic computer skills (email, data entry, inventory systems).
n

Qualifications

- Forklift licence.
n
- MR truck licence preferred but not essential.
n
- Relevant certificates in warehousing or logistics (preferred but not required).
n
- Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to WHS standards.
