Bajaj Prosperity Group Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced and reliable Cook to join our kitchen team. This is a full-time position suited to someone who works well in a quick-paced environment and takes pride in consistently preparing high-quality meals.

Key responsibilities include:

n

- Preparing and cooking menu items in accordance with established recipes and presentation standards
n
- Preparing ingredients, including vegetables, meats, sauces and garnishes
n
- Operating cooking equipment safely and efficiently
n
- Monitoring food quality, portion sizes and presentation
n
- Maintaining appropriate stock levels and assisting with stock rotation
n
- Minimising food waste and supporting effective cost control
n
- Maintaining a clean, safe and hygienic kitchen
n
- Complying with food safety, workplace health and safety, and sanitation requirements
n




- Working effectively with kitchen and front-of-house team members
n
- Assisting with the training and supervision of junior kitchen staff where required
n

To be considered, applicants should have:

n

n
- A relevant commercial cookery qualification or equivalent industry experience
n
- At least [insert required period] of relevant experience in a commercial kitchen
n
- Experience preparing Asian-style dishes, particularly wok-based meals, is desirable
n
- Sound knowledge of food safety and kitchen hygiene requirements
n
- The ability to work efficiently under pressure

- Strong teamwork, communication and time-management skills

- Availability to work a rotating roster, including evenings, weekends and public holidays
