Housekeeping Supervisor – Quality Resort Parkhurst

Quality Resort Parkhurst is seeking an experienced and motivated Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team.

This is a hands-on supervisory position suited to someone who has previous housekeeping supervisory experience and takes pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness, presentation and guest satisfaction.

You will work closely with the Property Manager and Housekeeping team to ensure our rooms and public areas are consistently presented to a high standard.

About the Role

As Housekeeping Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day housekeeping operation while remaining actively involved in cleaning rooms and supporting the housekeeping team. Your key responsibilities will include:

- Supervising and supporting the housekeeping team on a daily basis
- Personally cleaning and servicing guest rooms when required
- Ensuring rooms are cleaned and presented to the required standard
- Conducting room inspections and addressing any areas requiring attention
- Ensuring housekeeping procedures and standards are consistently followed
- Allocating daily tasks and assisting with workflow and priorities
- Monitoring linen, cleaning products and housekeeping supplies
- Reporting maintenance issues, damage or other concerns to the Property Manager
- Training and supporting housekeeping staff to achieve consistent standards
- Ensuring guest requests and housekeeping-related issues are dealt with promptly
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised housekeeping environment




- Working with the Property Manager to continually improve housekeeping standards and efficiency

About You

We are looking for someone who:
- Has previous housekeeping supervisory experience
- Is well presented and maintains a professional appearance at all times
- Has excellent attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness
- Is comfortable working in a hands-on role and leading by example
- Can confidently supervise, motivate and support a small team
- Has good organisational and time-management skills
- Is reliable, punctual and takes pride in their work
- Has a positive and professional attitude
- Can work independently and make decisions when required
- Understands the importance of maintaining room presentation and guest satisfaction
- Is adaptable and willing to work weekends as required

The Position

This is a casual position working approximately 5 days per week, with weekend availability required as necessary. The successful applicant will report directly to the Property Manager and will play an important role in ensuring the property maintains consistently high housekeeping standards.

This is not a purely supervisory role — you will be expected to remain hands-on and actively clean rooms alongside the team.
