We are currently seeking a highly skilled casual Housekeeping Supervisor to deliver the highest levels of customer service, cleanliness and organisation to our Housekeeping Department. Our Colonial Style Beach House is currently undergoing a substantial face lift and we are looking for the right person to help elevate presentation and standards to the next level.

Job tasks and responsibilities

- Overseeing the cleaning of guest rooms and public areas to ensure guest comfort and cleanliness are maintained to our brand standards.
- Ensure that room cleaning productivity is monitored closely and maintained to established levels
- To liaise with Front Desk and Maintenance regarding readiness of rooms with particular attention to guest’s special requirements and VIP rooms
- Assist to prepare weekly staffing schedules, monitoring staff attendance
- Coach and nurture the great team already in place
- Correct and proper management of lost property
- Working as room attendant and in hotel laundry will be required as part of the role
- Improve systems and procedures
- Train and develop each day
- Understand all Housekeeping KPI's and be able to report on them daily
- Impress and WOW our customers so they feel like they are treated like a celebrity

Skills and experience

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to lead by example
- The drive to consistently deliver the very best
- 2 years' experience in a similar capacity
