Experienced HR Manager required! Preferably in the Automotive industry

- Full Time role, located at Hallam – South East
- Nearly 2 weeks closure over Christmas/NY period

The primary role is to lead and direct the Human Resource team to deliver a comprehensive HR service to the business promoting Company culture and values enabling business success through recruitment, performance management, training & development, compensation/payroll and development of relevant HR policies and procedures.

You will be reporting to the General Manager, and your key responsibilities will entail the following not limited to,

- Provide HR advice, counsel, and support to managers and employees, explaining procedure, policy, rules, and benefit in a professional, confident, and timely effective manner.
- Knowledge of organisation, operating procedure, and legislation to develop and maintain current HR procedure and policy in line with current employment legislation and global policy.
- Manage and supervise the payroll process, procedure and application in a timely and accurate manner, and within legislative compliance.
- Manage the establishment, organisation and maintenance of all HR records, to always ensure complete accuracy and confidentiality.




- Evaluate risk when giving advice on risk management procedures, processes, policies, and practices.
- Manage the business resource process: interview techniques, recruitment and onboarding of new staff into the Company to ensure long term continuity of service, and service termination management.
- Coordinate all training to ensure all staff have the skills to perform at their required position level.
- Consistently measure and help develop initiatives to help drive employee engagement.
- Manage an efficient and constructive Performance Appraisal process for all employees.
- Work with the business leaders to develop on succession planning and key talent development.
- Manage an efficient Salary Review process for all employees including obtaining the relevant reporting and approvals required from key stakeholders.
- Preparing, reviewing, interpreting, analysing and approving a variety of data, information and reports, and making recommendations depending on findings.
- Assist the Motherson and MLUMEN Global teams with support as required.
- Ensure the timely submission and accuracy of Motherson Global monthly reports (Day 5 reports and other ad hoc reports as required)




- Assist the business leaders to drive and influence culture within the organization aligning to both MLUMEN and Motherson Values and ideals.
- Lead programs and identify ways to foster Diversity and Inclusion within the workplace.
- Leverage technology and systems (HRIS) streamline workflows and ensure data integrity

Key Skill Sets:

- Relevant Tertiary Human Resource Management or related field.
- Knowledge of management, supervisory, leadership methods and principles.
- Ability to work alone on a broad variety of projects.
- Ability to architect HR strategy along with leadership skills
- Highly developed interpersonal, negotiation, with active listening skills and a proven ability to build effective relationships and the ability to communicate with a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Proven ability to exercise effective judgment, sensitivity, creativity to changing needs and evaluate situations and maintain healthy working relationships and in an often-challenging work workplace.
- Exceptional knowledge of Microsoft Suite, relevant HRIS and payroll systems and databases.
- Demonstrated hands-on, practical approach.
- Extensive knowledge and management experience of HR practices and strategies.
- Experience in leading a HR team to ensure an elevated level of confidential professional service.
