SSH Mining is seeking an experienced HSEQ & Training Coordinator to support safety, training and workforce compliance across our WA mining operations.

Reporting directly to the COO, this role combines Perth-based systems and compliance work with regular travel to operational sites.

The Role

- Maintain SSH’s training and competency matrix, including licences, qualifications, inductions and expiries.
- Coordinate and maintain VOC requirements for mobile equipment operators.
- Support HSEQ policies, procedures, management plans, JHAs, SWMS and project-specific requirements.
- Conduct regular site visits, inspections and compliance reviews.
- Support incident investigations, corrective actions and safety reporting.
- Assist with personnel mobilisation, onboarding and training compliance.
- Work closely with Project Managers and Supervisors to ensure SSH systems are effectively implemented at site.

About You:

- Previous HSEQ,



safety or training experience within mining or mining services.
- Strong understanding of competency management and workforce compliance.
- Experience coordinating VOCs for heavy mobile equipment operators.
- Working knowledge of WA WHS legislation and Mines Regulations.
- Robust administration and systems capability.
- Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety or equivalent.
- ICAM / incident investigation training highly regarded.
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment highly regarded.
- Current WA C Class Driver’s Licence.

Location:

Primarily Perth-based, with regular travel to SSH Mining projects throughout regional WA.
