About the role

ARA Mechanical Services is seeking an experienced HVAC Site Supervisor to join our team in Wagga Wagga, NSW. This is a full-time position based on-site.

As Site

Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing teams, ensuring quality workmanship, maintaining safety standards and driving project completion on time and within budget. This role is central to our operational success and requires a skilled professional who can lead, problem-solve and maintain the highest standards of service delivery.

Key responsibilities

- Supervise and coordinate HVAC installation, maintenance and repair teams on designated projects
- Ensure all work complies with relevant building codes, safety regulations and industry standards
- Monitor project timelines, budgets and resource allocation to ensure efficient completion
- Conduct daily safety briefings and maintain a safe working setting for all team members
- Perform quality inspections on completed work and address any deficiencies promptly
- Communicate regularly with clients regarding project progress, updates and any issues that arise




- Order and manage materials and equipment required for projects
- Maintain accurate documentation, including timesheets, work orders and project reports
- Liaise with other contractors and stakeholders to ensure seamless project coordination

What we're looking for

- Trade qualification or formal apprenticeship in HVAC, air conditioning, refrigeration or a related mechanical field
- Minimum 2 years' experience working in HVAC/refrigeration installation and maintenance roles
- Proven supervisory or team leadership experience in a construction or trades environment
- Sound understanding of workplace health and safety requirements and best practices

- Valid driver's licence
- Experience with commercial or industrial HVAC systems is highly desirable
