$30.28 – $35.34 per hour + super + salary packaging benefits
About the Role
Are you a passionate and caring Educator who believes every child deserves the prospect to feel safe, included and supported?
Uniting Preschool Caves Beach is looking for a Cert III Inclusion Support Educator to join our team and provide dedicated support to a child within our preschool environment.
This is a rewarding opportunity to use your skills to help a child participate in learning, play and everyday experiences while building positive relationships and supporting their individual development and wellbeing.
What You'll Be Doing
- Build a positive, trusting and respectful relationship with the child and their family.
- Support the child's learning, development, inclusion and sense of belonging.
- Work in partnership with the Educator team and family to implement inclusive learning experiences and strategies.
- Respond to the child's individual needs, support their emotional regulation, and encourage their engagement and participation in the learning environment.
- Contribute to a safe, welcoming and inclusive environment for all children.
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow relevant policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Work as part of a collaborative team and contribute to the ongoing quality of the service.
What We're Looking For To be successful in this role, you'll have:
- Certificate III in Children's Services.
- A current Working with Children Check.
- GECKKO National Child Protection Training Certificate.
- First Aid Certificate.
- Working Rights Check.
- An understanding of inclusive practice and supporting children with diverse needs.
- The ability to build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues.
- A caring, patient and inclusive approach.
- A strong understanding of your responsibilities as a mandatory reporter and a commitment to child safety.
- The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- A commitment to Uniting's values and our focus on creating safe, inclusive and person-centred environments.
What We Offer
- $30.28 – $35.34 per hour + super.
