Due to continued growth and a robust pipeline of major projects, we are seeking experienced electricians to deliver industrial and infrastructure works across Tasmania.

We welcome applications from

- Level 5 Electricians – $52.70 per hour
- Level 6 Electricians/E&I; Technicians – $53.93 per hour

A further $5 per hour site allowance applies while working on nominated projects, bringing the applicable hourly rates to:

- Level 5 – $57.70 per hour
- Level 6 – $58.93 per hour

Classification will be based on qualifications, demonstrated skills and relevant experience.

The Work Depending on experience, work may include:

- Underground electrical reticulation
- Subdivisions
- Installation of conduits, pits, cabling and associated infrastructure
- Street lighting installation and Traffic signal installation




- Civil and major infrastructure projects
- Industrial electrical installation and maintenance
- Switchboards, motor control, VSDs and control equipment
- Installation and testing of field instrumentation
- Electrical testing, commissioning and fault-finding
- Reading drawings and completing project documentation

Experience and Qualifications Applicants should have experience in one or more of the following areas:

- Underground electrical reticulation or subdivisions
- Street lighting or traffic signals
- Civil infrastructure projects
- Industrial electrical installation and maintenance
- Instrumentation or control systems
- Water and wastewater infrastructure

Applicants should hold:

- Current Tasmanian Electrical Practitioner Licence
- Construction Industry White Card
- Current Australian driver’s licence
- Current CPR/LVR

The following are highly regarded:

- Certificate III or IV in Instrumentation and Control
- HV Switching
- High Risk Work Licence – WP
- First Aid qualification
