About the role

Epic Hair Designs is seeking a talented and experienced Co-Manager / Senior Stylist / Hairdresser to join our thriving salon in Carseldine, QLD 4034. This is a full-time position that combines hands-on styling expertise with management responsibilities. As Co-Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the salon's success, managing day-to-day operations, mentoring Emerging Stylists, and delivering exceptional service to our valued clients. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced hairdresser who is ready to take on a leadership role and contribute to the growth and excellence of our salon.

Key Responsibilities

Provide high‑quality hair and beauty services to clients, including cutting, colouring, styling and treatments

Co‑manage the day‑to‑day operations of the salon, ensuring smooth workflow and exceptional client experiences

Support staff recruitment, training, development and performance management

Mentor and coach Emerging Stylists and support staff to enhance their skills and career development

Maintain salon standards, cleanliness and health and safety compliance

Contribute to salon marketing initiatives and build client relationships to drive business growth

Manage inventory, stock levels and ordering of products and supplies

Assist with scheduling, rostering and ensuring adequate staffing levels

Monitor sales performance and work towards achieving salon targets and financial goals

Handle client complaints professionally and implement solutions to enhance satisfaction

Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of industry trends, techniques and products

What we’re looking for

A minimum of 5 years' experience as a qualified hairdresser or stylist in a professional salon environment

Current registration or certification in hairdressing with relevant qualifications recognised in Queensland





Proven experience in a senior or supervisory role within a hair and beauty salon

Strong technical skills in cutting, colouring, styling and other hair treatments

Sound knowledge of salon management, including inventory control, scheduling and financial awareness

Ability to work collaboratively with management and colleagues whilst also working independently

Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering outstanding service
