We are looking for an experienced business development professional or management consultant to join our Sydney team as Project Manager.
n
In this role, you will lead client engagements supporting Swedish companies in their international growth and expansion. Our advisory work spans Growth Advisory, M&A;, Supply Chain and Public Affairs, combining strategic advice and analysis with hands‐on support to turn strategies into tangible results.

The role includes strategic, tactical and operational responsibilities, including:
n
n
- Represent Business Sweden as a trusted advisor and help clients address their most important international growth challenges
n
- Lead project teams and work closely with clients throughout assignments
n
- Build strong client relationships and independently manage senior stakeholder dialogues
n
- Shape and scope assignments and lead project delivery, ensuring that insights and recommendations are well grounded, practical and clearly communicated
n
- Navigate both business promotion and strategic consulting assignments for clients ranging from SMEs to large multinational companies
n
- Proactively drive sales,
from initiating client dialogues and identifying needs to shaping proposals and converting opportunities
n
- Coach and support more junior colleagues and contribute to the continued development of the team
n
- Collaborate with Business Sweden colleagues across markets, industries and service areas
n
n
The role is based in Sydney, but you will work with our teams and clients around the world as required.
n

Formal requirements
n
n
- Master of Science in Business Administration, Engineering or equivalent
n
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in management consulting and/or strategic business development
n
- Experience leading and coaching consulting or project teams
n
- Strong international experience, including working across markets and with multinational teams
n
- Strong experience in one or more of our core advisory areas, including Growth Advisory, M&A; and Supply Chain
n
- Proven sales experience and the ability to independently drive client dialogues and take responsibility for the full sales cycle
n
- High proficiency in written and spoken English; additional languages are an advantage
n
- Fluency in Swedish is considered a merit, but is not a requirement for the role.
n

For this role, candidates must be either Swedish citizens or have the legal right to work in Australia.
