The Opportunity
We are looking for apassionate Airport Reporting Officer to join our Airport Team. Inthis position you will be responsible for maintaining compliancewith the Civil Aviation Safety Regulations (CASR)
Part 139,Aerodrome Manuals and the applicable Safety Management Systems inplace at the East Kimberley Regional Airport (EKRA).
- Carrying out allocatedworks programs and undertaking minor repairsof servicesassociated with airport pavements, runways, markers, linemarkings, lighting, drains, wind indicators, visual slopeindicator systems, fencing and other critical systems, groundsand other facilities at Kununurra and Wyndham Airports as perthe Manual of Standards (MOS) 139 and AerodromeManual;
- Maintaining the terminaland airside security control in accordance with the AviationTransport Security Act (ATSA) 2004, Aviation TransportsSecurity Regulations (ATSR) 2005 and Kununurra AirportTransport Security Program (TSP). Including managing airsideaccess, escorts and issuing of Visitor Identification Cards(VIC);
- Enforcing the provisionsof the Safety Management System (SMS), so as to ensure allpersons operating Airside, and specifically within Aircraftmovement areas, operate in a protected and responsiblemanner;
- Ensuring all gardens andlawns (both airside and landside), open areas (landside), andairport terminal/s and facilities are maintained and presentedto a high standard at all times;
- Monitoring and enforcingASIC compliance requirements and airside vehicle control inaccordance with the Airport Manual and TSP.
A current Senior First Aid,current unrestricted WA “C” Class Drivers Licence,
current AviationSecurity Identification Card (ASIC), current Aerodrome ReportingOfficer & Aerodrome Works Safety Officer Certificate from anapproved authority, current Aircraft Radiotelephone OperatorCertificate of Proficiency and current White Construction SafetyCard are essential for this role.
