Gabes Cleaning Services is looking for an experienced, practical, organised and team-focused Business Services Manager to help keep finance, people and day-to-day business operations running smoothly.

You will work closely with the Managing Director, management team and administration team across a wide-ranging portfolio including finance, payroll, human resources, Work Health and Safety, governance, compliance and team leadership.

This role will be a permanent part-time role with flexible hours worked from our Head Office in Thornton.

Salary will be negotiable.

Key responsibilities

Manage day-to-day finance activities, including reconciliations, invoicing, accounts payable and receivable, BAS reporting, cash flow, and month-end and year-end close.

Support budgeting, monthly management reporting, margin monitoring and business performance insights.

Oversee payroll for 80+ employees, including superannuation, leave, termination payments and Single Touch Payroll obligations.

Lead and improve business administration, human resources, compliance,



Work Health and Safety and quality management systems.

Maintain policies, procedures and business processes while building positive working relationships across the team.

About you

Tertiary qualifications in business management, finance or a related field.

Experience across finance and business administration functions.

Strong organisation, initiative and problem-solving skills.

A professional, approachable style and confidence working with Directors, managers and employees.

Sound working knowledge of finance, payroll, human resources, Work Health and Safety and compliance requirements, including Awards and Fair Work obligations.

Proven experience in myob, Xero and Microsoft Office
