About the role

Join SGS, the world's leading testing, inspection and certification company, and play an important role supporting Australia's agricultural export and domestic trade industries. In this hands-on role, you'll conduct inspections of agricultural commodities, ensure compliance with industry and government requirements, and help deliver trusted services to our customers.

Key responsibilities

- Conduct inspections of agricultural commodity exports and domestic trade shipments
- Perform export commodity inspections in accordance with Trade Assurance Services contracts and regulatory requirements
- Complete accurate inspection reports and documentation within required timeframes
- Liaise with customers to understand and meet their inspection requirements
- Maintain and develop the skills,



knowledge and qualifications required for the role

About you To be successful you will have:

- Organised, reliable and able to work independently
- A robust communicator with a customer-focused approach
- Detail-oriented with excellent record-keeping skills
- Committed to safety, quality and continuous improvement
- Comfortable working in varied environments and performing field-based inspections
- Current Australian Driver's Licence
- Experience or knowledge within the agricultural industry, commodity inspection, export services or a related sector is highly regarded
- Australian Government Authorised Officer PGG3001 and BVI3001 accreditation is desirable but not essential
- Ability to prepare clear and accurate reports
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
