In-house Recruiter – Melbourne

About the role

Due to continued growth, Keece is looking for an In-house Recruiter to join our Melbourne team and take ownership of recruitment across the business. If you’re an agency recruiter looking to make the move in-house, this could be the perfect next step. No billable targets, just a focus on finding great people and building long-term connections.

Working closely with our HR and Operations teams, you’ll recruit across a range of roles, with a strong focus on electricians, apprentices, supervisors and other construction-based positions, alongside office and professional roles.

We’re looking for someone who takes a proactive approach to recruitment, getting out into the market, building genuine industry connections, approaching passive candidates and developing strong talent pipelines. Ultimately, you’ll help Keece stay ahead of our workforce needs and ensure we have quality people ready to support our continued growth.

The responsibilities of the role include:

- Managing recruitment across Keece from advertising through to offer.
- Proactively sourcing and headhunting candidates rather than relying solely on job boards.
- Building and maintaining a strong network of electricians and construction professionals.
- Developing talent pipelines for current and future project requirements.
- Conducting screening calls and coordinating interviews with hiring managers.
- Writing and managing job advertisements across SEEK, LinkedIn and other recruitment channels.
- Keeping in touch with strong candidates and maintaining an active talent pool.
- Identifying new and creative ways to attract quality people to Keece.
- Supporting the wider HR team as required.

About you

We’re looking for someone who genuinely enjoys recruitment and knows that the best candidates aren't always actively looking for another job.

Ideally, you:

- Have experience recruiting within electrical, construction, trades or another blue-collar environment.

- Have an established industry network or a proven ability to build one.
- Are confident approaching and engaging passive candidates.
- Are comfortable picking up the phone, starting conversations and building relationships.
- Understand high-volume recruitment and how to maintain candidate quality while moving quickly.
- Can build talent pipelines rather than recruiting one vacancy at a time.
- Are organised and capable of managing multiple roles and priorities at once.
- Communicate well with everyone from apprentices and electricians through to supervisors and senior management.
- Are proactive, personable and comfortable working independently.
- Understand that culture and attitude matter just as much as what's written on a CV.
- Experience recruiting electricians or within the electrical contracting industry would be a major advantage.

Why Keece?

Keece is a safety and culture-first electrical services company delivering commercial projects across Australia and New Zealand. We’re continuing to grow, and our people are a huge part of what makes that possible.

Joining Keece, you’ll have the opportunity to:

- Influence and help shape Keece’s internal recruitment function.
- Access ongoing training and development opportunities.
- Work alongside supportive and collaborative HR and Operations teams.
- Recruit across Australia and New Zealand.
- Work across a growing business with a robust project pipeline and plenty of recruitment variety.
- Have the autonomy to develop new sourcing strategies, networks and talent pipelines.

We take pride in what we do and keep things simple; good communication, strong systems and a team that gets things done. We’re looking for someone who can bring that same approach to recruitment and help us build the workforce we need for what’s ahead.

Apply Now

If you’re a recruiter who loves building relationships, knows how to find great people and enjoys the challenge of building strong talent networks, we’d love to hear from you.

We’re an equal-opportunity employer and welcome applicants from all backgrounds who bring the right mindset and skillset.
