The opportunity

Our client is an established global organisation seeking an experienced Internal Sales & Customer Service Representative to join its friendly Australian team. This is a varied, office-based position combining new business development, existing account management, customer service and detailed sales administration. You will manage your own customer territory while also supporting an external Sales Representative.

Key responsibilities

- Manage and develop relationships with existing B2B customers
- Follow up leads and identify new sales opportunities
- Research and contact prospective customers
- Prepare quotations and process orders and product samples
- Respond to product availability, pricing and delivery enquiries
- Follow customer orders from quotation through to delivery
- Maintain accurate customer records, forecasts and sales activity
- Monitor outstanding quotations, orders and delivery performance
- Coordinate appointments and assist with customer seminars
- Provide responsive, professional customer service

About you

You will be personable, organised and commercially minded, with the confidence to speak with customers and the attention to detail needed to manage the administrative side of the role.

- Essential B2B sales, internal sales or account management experience




- Strong customer service and relationship-building skills
- Excellent administration skills and attention to detail
- Confidence making proactive outbound calls
- Robust written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to manage priorities and follow tasks through to completion
- Technical curiosity and the ability to learn new products quickly
- A collaborative, reliable and customer-focused approach

Experience with electronics, electrical products, industrial equipment, engineering, manufacturing or technical distribution would be highly regarded but is not essential.
