About In Good CompanyIn Good Company is a business community and content platform built for people doing business differently.
Through our podcast, events, resources and membership community, we bring together good people, honest conversations and practical ideas to make business feel a little less lonely — and a lot more human.
Good People. Better Business.
The RoleWe're looking for a Junior Content Producer to take our weekly podcast from recorded conversation to published episode — and turn the best bits into content people actually want to watch.
You'll own the post-production and distribution workflow, working from recordings and creative direction supplied by the In Good Company team.
This is a hands-on production role for someone who's confident editing audio and video, has a good instinct for engaging content, and can reliably deliver to a weekly publishing schedule.
About YouYou'll probably be early in your content career, but comfortable enough with editing that you can take ownership of the production process.
We're looking for someone who:
- Has hands-on audio and video editing experience
- Is comfortable using tools such as Premiere Pro, CapCut or similar
- Understands how podcast content translates into engaging social content
- Has a good eye for hooks, moments and conversations worth sharing
- Is organised and reliable with weekly deadlines
- Can work independently from a clear brief
- Takes feedback well and can turn revisions around efficiently
- Is curious about AI and new tools that make content workflows smarter
- Gets the In Good Company tone: smart, useful, human and never too corporate
The Opportunity In Good Company is still a young and growing business,
which means this role has plenty of room to evolve. You'll work directly with the founders and have the opportunity to build your experience across podcasting, social content and digital media — while having genuine creative input into how our content develops. We’re a small team, so you'll be close to the ideas, conversations and decisions rather than sitting at the end of a long production chain. As we grow, there may also be opportunities to expand the role beyond podcast production into broader content creation and production across In Good Company. We'd initially like to engage someone on a freelance/contractor basis, with the potential for the scope and/or arrangement to grow over time as the business does.Rate: $25–$30 per hour, depending on experience. We think this role would suit someone looking to build their portfolio, take on more ownership and become part of a growing brand and community — not just pick up another editing gig. The ProcessWe like to keep things pretty simple.1. ApplySend your resume, a short introduction and a few examples of your work to
[email protected]. This could be podcast edits, Reels/TikToks, university projects or personal content — we’re more interested in seeing what you can do than a perfectly polished portfolio.2.
Have a chatShortlisted applicants will have an informal conversation with us to talk about the role, your experience and what you're looking for.3. Show us how you thinkWe may ask final candidates to complete a short, paid editing task using supplied content. This helps us understand your editing style, content instincts and how you approach a brief.4.
Get startedWe’re looking to start with a freelance/contractor arrangement and, if it’s a great fit on both sides, there’s plenty of potential for the role to grow alongside In Positive Company. Most importantly: you don't need years of experience or a fancy portfolio. We're looking for someone with the foundations, a good creative eye, reliability and a genuine willingness to learn and grow.
