About the Role

n

An exciting leadership chance for an experienced Emergency Medicine Specialist to provide clinical leadership, governance support, and patient care within a modern regional Emergency Department seeing approximately 18,000 presentations annually. Working closely with the Clinical Director, you will support workforce planning, quality improvement, education, supervision, and service development while maintaining a clinical workload.

Requirements

n

n
- AHPRA registration as a Specialist in Emergency Medicine (FACEM) or FRACGP/FACRRM with advanced emergency medicine qualifications.
n
- Recent Emergency Medicine experience in Australia or a comparable setting.
n
- Demonstrated leadership, clinical governance, and quality improvement experience.
n
- Commitment to teaching, supervision, and multidisciplinary teamwork.
n
- Willingness to participate in evenings, weekends, and on‐call rosters.
n

Some shifts are on call and in charge. Must have experience working in charge. Must be Neonatal Resuscitation confident. Must have a currency in Advanced Life Support training. Travel and accommodation included.
