Gobind Foods Pty Ltd T/A Gobind Sweets Epping is looking for a qualified and experienced Full time Cook to join our team.

Salary Range - $80,000 to $85,000

n

Business Location - Epping VIC 3076

n

Responsibilities

n

n
- Inspect ingredients and food to ensure quality.
n
- Monitor and control oven, grill, and cooking equipment temperatures.
n
- Prepare and cook meals according to menu requirements.
n
- Season dishes appropriately during cooking.
n
- Portion and plate meals with sauces, gravies, and garnishes.
n
- Store food in temperature-controlled areas.
n
- Prepare meals for special dietary requirements.
n
- Assist with menu planning and estimating food needs when required.
n
- Support and train junior kitchen staff or apprentices.
n

Skills and Qualifications

n

n
- AQF Certificate Ill in Commercial Cookery or equivalent.
n
- Relevant experience or on-the-job training.
n
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
n
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy kitchen.
n

n

Three current referees would be required.
