Occupational Therapist – Joondalup / Perth Base | Bi-Monthly Remote Travel
Based out of our Joondalup office, this unique role lets you manage a wide-ranging local generalist caseload with work-from-home flexibility, paired with an exciting remote travel trip out to the Ngaanyatjarra Lands (Warburton, Wanarn, Jameson, Warakurna) just once every 2 months. Work locally out of Joondalup and home, then fly/drive out for an immersive, deeply rewarding remote block every 8 weeks (all travel, accommodation, and allowances fully covered). Enjoy every second Friday off to recharge and maintain your work-life balance.
Key responsibilities
- Manage a dynamic generalist caseload across NDIS, Medicare, schools, and Home Care Packages
- Deliver holistic, culturally sensitive allied health services to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities
- Guide junior therapists and supervise students (for Senior OTs)
- Help drive clinical excellence across remote community programs (for Senior OTs)
About you
- Occupational Therapist registration
- Ability to work with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities
- Suited to generalist practice across multiple service contexts
- For New Graduates: Willingness to engage with dedicated Graduate Program including 2-week paid induction, hands-on shadowing, and weekly 1:1 clinical supervision
- For Senior OTs:
Experience in leadership and clinical supervision
- Generous company CPD allowance plus access to Rural Health West grants (up to $10,000 per year)
- Laptop, work phone, paid kilometers, and access to company vehicles provided
- 9-Day Fortnight with every second Friday off
- All travel, accommodation, and allowances fully covered for remote blocks
