This is an exciting opportunity for a caring, energetic andcustomer-focused individual to contribute to a valued communityservice while being part of a supportive and positive team.
You will be required to be available on Wednesdays and Thursdaysbetween the hours of 8:45am and 10:45am. Additional hours may beavailable during staff leave across Naturaliste Community Centreand also the Geographe Leisure Centre.
What you’ll be doing:
- Supervising and caring for children in a safe and nurturingenvironment
- Delivering fun, interactive and stimulating activities forchildren of various ages
- Building positive relationships with parents and respondingto enquiries professionally
- Maintaining a clean, organised and welcoming crècheenvironment
- Following and implementing crèche policies, procedures andsafety requirements
- Recording incidents, accidents and requireddocumentation
- Contributing ideas to enhance programs and improve servicedelivery
As the successful applicant you will be able todemonstrate the following:
- Experience working with children and the ability to engagepositively with all ages
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- The ability to follow procedures, work collaboratively andtake direction effectively
Pre-employment requirements:
- A current Working with Children Check (or ability to obtainone)
- A current National Police Clearance (or ability toobtain)
- A current First Aid and CPR Certificate
- Proof of right to work in Australia

This role is casual and the working days and times may vary.
