The Team
Accessibility Services provides access to learning, play and the curriculum for children and students with sensory disability. Children and students who are blind or have low vision or who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing can have extra teaching, learning programs, technology and resources. Accessibility Services employ specialist staff to work with children and their families in schools, colleges and community settings.
About The Role
Assist with the communicative needs of Deaf or hard of hearing (HoH) students using Australian Sign Language (Auslan) according to the specific needs of the student including support to the student’s program through the preparation of teacher designed materials.

We are looking for
Essential
- Current Tasmanian Registration to Work with Vulnerable People (RWVP) with a registration Status - Employment
Desirable
- Certificate II in Auslan
- Certificate III in Education Support
Please note: The cost associated with obtaining a RWVP is the responsibility of the individual.
