Functional Pathology Laboratory & Dispensary – Sydney

We are a growing functional pathology laboratory and dispensary supporting practitioners across Australia and we are looking for a Full-Time Technician to join our team.

The Role

This role will be based in our pathology laboratory and dispensary in Alexandria, Sydney.

Core responsibilities include:

- Performing sample testing, instrument operation, specimen reception, data entry.
- Reporting and reviewing results.
- General laboratory cleaning, calibration, and maintenance.
- Supporting and shipping from the dispensary, including building test kits.
- Participating in research projects and developing new testing protocols.
- Engaging with internal and external stakeholders, troubleshooting, and ensuring best practice.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Experience in a laboratory setting (functional pathology experience highly regarded).




- Solid organisational skills with the ability to work independently.
- Confidence managing competing priorities and deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite / Google Docs.
- A team-focused attitude with strong customer service skills.
- Flexibility to support both lab and dispensary operations as required.

Highly regarded experience:

- Roche equipment and ELISA (manual or semi-automatic).

Minimum qualification: Diploma in Laboratory Technology or equivalent, with subjects relevant to medical science, pathology or medical laboratory operations.
