Want a job that could turn into a career?
If you're fit, reliable, hands-on and keen to learn, this could be your opportunity to get into the crane and rigging industry. United Cranes & Rigging (UCR) is looking for motivated Labourers who want more than just another labouring job.

Get paid while you learn and build a career in an industry where skilled people are always in demand.
United Cranes & Rigging is part of United Group Australia, a South Australian family-owned group operating across crane hire and rigging, reinforcing steel and precast concrete.
What You'll Be Doing
You'll work alongside our experienced crane and rigging crews on a variety of projects across Adelaide, learning the industry from the ground up.
Your work may include
- Assisting crane operators, riggers and dogmen
- General site and yard duties
- Setting up and packing down crane work areas
- Assisting with equipment and lifting operations
- Working across mobile and tower crane operations
- Learning safe lifting, dogging and rigging practices
- Working towards additional licences, skills and crane operation opportunities
What We're Looking For
You must be:
- Physically fit and comfortable with hands-on work
- Reliable and have a strong attendance record
- Safety focused
- Drug and alcohol free at work
- Able to follow instructions and safety procedures
- Willing to work flexible hours and across different Adelaide locations
- Keen to learn and build a long-term career
- Willing to obtain a Police Clearance if required
We're particularly interested in people with a great attitude, solid work ethic and genuine desire to progress.
Even Better If You Have
Experience isn't essential, but the following will be highly regarded:
- Construction White Card
- Dogging or Rigging High Risk Work Licence
- Crane High Risk Work Licence
- HR or HC Driver's Licence
- Construction, civil, transport or labouring experience
- Previous exposure to cranes or lifting operations
Why Join UCR?
- Earn while you learn – build valuable industry skills while working
- Career progression – opportunities to develop into dogging, rigging and crane operation
- Variety – different projects, locations and challenges; no two days are the same
- Modern equipment – work around a modern, well-maintained crane fleet
- Great team culture – join a young-minded, hands-on and supportive crew
- Competitive hourly rates
- Long-term opportunities within the growing United Group
