Chris Smith & Associates (CSA) is medium sized consultancy business, based in Shepparton and services a growing list of clients in regional Victoria and NSW.

This includes major infrastructure projects, municipal road and infrastructure works, renewable energy projects, land development, water industry and agriculture.

About the role

CSA are seeking an experienced Land Surveyor to join our growing team. You will undertake field surveys, process survey data, and prepare accurate plans and documentation for projects ranging from residential subdivisions to major infrastructure projects. This position offers varied work and the opportunity to develop your career alongside experienced surveying professionals.

Key responsibilities

- Conduct cadastral, feature, level, boundary and construction surveys
- Perform set-outs, as-built surveys, engineering surveys etc.
- Collect, process and interpret field data
- Prepare survey plans, reports and supporting documentation
- Operate GNSS, robotic total stations, digital levels and related technology
- Liaise with project managers, engineers, town planners,



clients and site personnel
- Maintain accurate records and complete work in accordance with relevant standards
- Assist with project planning, quality assurance and workplace safety

About you

- A qualification in surveying or spatial science and/or relevant field and office based surveying experience
- Proficiency with survey equipment and software such as Liscad and CAD
- Solid attention to detail and problem solving skills
- Effective communication and time management abilities
- A current driver's licence
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Australian working rights
