About the role Queensland Specialised Scaffolding is seeking reliable scaffold labourers and experienced Basic, Intermediate and Advanced Scaffolders to join our growing team.

We have a strong pipeline of work across Brisbane and South East Queensland and are looking for people who take pride in their work, understand the importance of safety and can work effectively as part of a crew.

The role will involve the erection, alteration and dismantling of scaffolding across a range of projects. Scaffold labourers will support licensed scaffolders with materials handling, ground work and site preparation, working under the direction of a licensed crew member.

Immediate starts are available for suitable applicants.

Your responsibilities

Depending on your licence and experience, you will be responsible for:

- Erecting, modifying and dismantling scaffolding safely and efficiently (licensed scaffolders)
- Assisting licensed scaffolders with the safe handling and movement of scaffold materials (labourers)
- Following site plans, instructions and safe work procedures
- Inspecting scaffold components before use
- Loading, unloading and organising scaffold materials
- Maintaining a clean and safe work area
- Working closely with supervisors, leading hands and other crew members
- Identifying and reporting safety hazards
- Completing work to QSS and client standards




- Representing the company professionally on site

What we are looking for

All applicants should have

- Construction White Card
- A strong understanding of workplace health and safety requirements
- The ability to work safely at heights
- Positive communication and teamwork skills
- A reliable and punctual approach to work
- Suitable personal protective equipment
- The physical fitness required for scaffolding work
- Current driver's licence
- Reliable transport to attend work locations

Scaffolder roles additionally require:
- A current Basic, Intermediate or Advanced Scaffolding High Risk Work Licence
- Previous scaffolding experience

The following will be highly regarded:
- Working at Heights certification
- Forklift licence
- Dogging or Rigging High Risk Work Licence
- EWP licence
- Previous labouring experience on construction sites
- Experience in commercial, industrial or complex scaffolding
- Leading Hand or crew supervision experience

Pay and conditions

- $40–$55 per hour, depending on experience, qualifications, ticket level and demonstrated ability
- $30 travel allowance
- Ongoing work for reliable and capable employees
- Additional hours may be available depending on project requirements
