The Role
KCL Law is looking for a 1-3 year PQE Lawyer to join our dynamic and friendly Litigation & Dispute Resolution team, with broad exposure across:
- Corporate, insolvency and shareholder disputes;
- Property and lease disputes, including retail leases;
- Competition and consumer law, including the ACL;
- Qualified negligence, equity and defamation;
- Insurance coverage disputes, including the ICA; and
- International dispute work, mainly involving the US.
You’ll be mentored by the team’s Principal and Senior Lawyers, who bring a range of different strengths and styles, with ongoing CPD and support for your development.
The Candidate
Essential personal attributes for the role include a positive attitude, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and an aptitude for providing clients with commercial legal solutions. An ability or interest in developing a practice will be encouraged and supported by the firm, as well as ongoing CPD and other support for your career development.
Experience in managing urgent tasks will be beneficial, as grace under pressure is part of the job. We are ideally looking for someone to maintain strong client relationships.
