:

- Reports to Lead, Credit Assessment.

- Works within a team of Credit Assessors and assesses files from a national queue.

- Primary responsibility for controlling credit verification/assessment processes and developing policies to ensure than an acceptable level of risk is maintained.

- Ensuring operations and strategies and procedures are aligned with general company goals and in accordance with other functions.

- Develops, communicates, and implements medium to long term operating policies, strategies and tactics that may involve the interpretation and application of broader guidelines.





- Has ultimate accountability for the function and provides the highest level of advice and recommendations when required.

- Maintain our high compliance levels by setting a high standard for file

Core Responsibilities:

- Managing workflow from a national queue in a timely manner

- Completing credit verification checks to ensure application input is meeting our bank policy and responsible lending requirements.

- Reaching and maintaining a high level of credit verification/assessment and compliance standards

- Leading Pro Actively monitoring Credit Risk requirements within an agreed Risk Appetite and managing Non-Compliance in a timely manner

- Ensuring Continuing Education points are achieved and maintained

Qualifications:

- Minimum 2 years credit/consumer lending role experience

- Evaluate current/increase credit risk

- Provide advice on structuring transactions

- Evaluate credit risk reviews

- Solid communication skills, both written and verbal.

- Advanced critical reasoning and risk assessment skills

- Segment experience: Consumer Lending
