About the role

We are seeking a Senior Light Vehicle Mechanic to join our team, located in inner Brisbane. This is a part-time position (32hrs per week, no weekends) where you will be responsible for the servicing and repair of a variety of light vehicles. As a valued member of our talented Automotive Trades team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and restoring the safety and reliability of our customers' vehicles.

What you'll be doing

- Diagnose and repair faults in vehicles
- Perform scheduled servicing and maintenance tasks to manufacturer specifications
- Test and inspect vehicle components to identify and rectify any issues
- Speaking with customers to clearly explain the work completed and any recommendations
- Overseeing and guiding our apprentice, ensuring they learn correct processes and safe work habits
- Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures

What we're looking for

- Formal qualifications in Automotive Mechanics
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work to a high standard




- Valuable communication and willingness to share knowledge with our apprentice
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
