Lead Sports Coach & Program Coordinator

GeckoSports Perth South | Part-Time (30 Hours) to Full-Time | Perth Southern Suburbs

GeckoSports Perth South club is growing and we're looking for an energetic, reliable and motivated person to join our team in an important coaching and leadership role.

This isn't your standard 9–5 desk job. Your week could see you coaching athletics at a primary school, running a multi-sport session with 4-year-olds, delivering an after-school club, leading an OSHC incursion, helping develop our next holiday program theme, or supporting other coaches within our team.

The Role The majority of your role will involve delivering fun, active and engaging children's sports programs throughout Perth's southern suburbs for things like:

- School programs - 4 week specialised sports program (schools can choose from 25+ land sports)
- After-school sports classes
- OSHC after-school and holiday incursions
- Pre-school programs (KUBS for 3-4y/o)
- School incursions
- School sports days and events
- School holiday programs

Alongside coaching, we're looking for someone who can work autonomy and in a team, while taking ownership of an area of the business and helping us continue to grow. Depending on your experience and strengths, this could include managing our operations, coach mentoring, program development and coordination, equipment management and rostering. We're looking for someone who wants to do more than simply coach sessions - someone who is willing to take initiative, contribute ideas, take ownership and grow into a leadership role within GeckoSports Perth South.

Requirements - the successful applicant will need:

- Working With Children card (or will apply for one)
- Current driver's licence
- Reliable vehicle and ability to travel between programs
- First Aid/CPR, or willingness to obtain
- Work during school hours, after-school hours, the school holidays and occasionally on a weekend
- Appropriate Australian working rights
