Support the learning rollout for a major TechnologyOne ERP transformation. This is a hands-on role across instructional design, facilitation and post-go-live support.

About the role

Our local government client is undertaking a major ERP transformation and is seeking an ERP Learning Support Officer to help prepare its workforce for the implementation of TechnologyOne.

Reporting to the ERP Learning Coordinator, you will design, develop and deliver role-based learning that enables employees to confidently use the new platform from go-live.

This is a practical, hands-on learning role. During the lead-up to each release, your focus will be on instructional design and content development. Around go-live, you will shift towards training delivery, learner support and hypercare before helping transition learning materials into business-as-usual operations.

Please note: This is a 12 month fixed term contract with a salary band 6 ($97,000 + Superannuation). The offices are based in the inner-northern suburbs of Melbourne with hybrid working.

We are building a team of Learning Support Officers with 3 positions available.

Key responsibilities

- Participate in training needs analysis workshops with subject matter experts, functional leads and business representatives
- Document learner groups, learning requirements and role-to-process mappings
- Develop role-based learning journeys for different employee cohorts
- Design and build eLearning modules using Articulate Rise or similar authoring tools
- Produce Quick Reference Guides, instructional videos, facilitator materials, knowledge checks and supporting resources

- Adapt TechnologyOne learning content to reflect the organisation’s processes and ways of working
- Package SCORM content and support its publication through the organisation’s learning management system
- Co-facilitate and independently deliver classroom, virtual and hands-on system training
- Support train-the-trainer sessions for Super Users and Process Champions
- Coordinate learner invitations, schedules, attendance and completion reporting
- Deliver drop-in sessions, targeted clinics and refresher training during hypercare
- Gather and analyse learner feedback to identify capability gaps and improve content
- Maintain learning materials as business processes and TechnologyOne releases evolve

About you You are an experienced learning & development practitioner who can take learning content from initial analysis through to development, delivery and ongoing improvement.

You will bring

- Experience designing, developing and delivering blended workplace learning
- Hands-on proficiency with Articulate Rise, Storyline, Captivate or a comparable authoring tool
- Experience developing instructional videos, Quick Reference Guides and instructor-led training materials
- Confidence facilitating system training in a corporate, government or similarly complex environment
- Knowledge of instructional design approaches such as ADDIE, SAM and 70:20:10

- Experience working with subject matter experts to translate complex processes into clear, engaging learning
- Strong plain-English writing and content design skills
- An understanding of SCORM packaging and learning management systems
- Experience evaluating learning outcomes, ideally using Kirkpatrick Level 1 and Level 2 methods
- The ability to work to firm deadlines within a busy transformation program
- A practical, collaborative style and robust attention to detail

Experience developing learning for an ERP or enterprise system implementation will be highly regarded. You will also understand how to design inclusive learning for a diverse workforce, including field-based employees, people with varying levels of digital confidence and employees who may not have regular access to a computer.

Qualifications A qualification in adult learning, education, communications, human resources or a related discipline is desirable. A Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, along with an awareness of Prosci or ADKAR change principles, will also be well regarded.

Why apply?

This is an opportunity to play a meaningful role in a large-scale transformation and create learning resources that will be used across the organisation. You will work closely with an experienced learning and change team while gaining end-to-end exposure to a significant TechnologyOne implementation.

A Working with Children Check and National Police Check will be required for the successful candidate.
