About the role

Lighthouse Christian College - Keysborough is seeking experienced Learning Support Assistants to join their dedicated team on a contract basis. Commencing Term 1, 2027 these vital roles, will provide support and assistance to students with special educational needs, helping them to reach their full potential. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young people.

Skills & Experience

- Certificate III or IV in Education Support (preferred); Certificate IV in School Based Education Support (highly desirable); First Aid, CPR and Anaphylaxis qualifications, or willingness to obtain and maintain; Ongoing professional learning relevant to inclusive education and student wellbeing.
- Experience working with students who have learning difficulties, disabilities or other additional needs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with students, teachers and parents
- Patience, empathy and a genuine passion for supporting student growth and development
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a teaching team
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
