Role Description The Lending Consultant is a full time, hybrid role based in Chatswood, NSW, with flexibility to work from home for part of the week. In this role, the consultant will assess customer needs, review financial information, and recommend suitable lending products and vehicle finance solutions. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing loan applications from initial inquiry through to settlement, explaining terms and conditions clearly, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and relevant regulations.

The consultant will engage in proactive customer contact, build long-term relationships,



and collaborate with internal teams and external partners to deliver a smooth lending experience. The role also involves meeting sales and service targets while maintaining high standards of professionalism and ethics.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of loans and finance, including vehicle lending structures and basic credit assessment.
- Experience in financial services, with an understanding of lending regulations and compliance requirements.
- Proven customer service skills, with the ability to communicate complex information clearly and build trust.
- Background in sales, including meeting targets, managing pipelines, and handling objections effectively.
- High level of attention to detail, numerical literacy, and ability to interpret financial documents.
- Competence with CRM systems and standard office software for managing customer records and applications.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work environment.
- Relevant qualifications in finance, business, or a related field are advantageous; prior lending or brokerage experience is highly regarded.
