About You

n

The HSIE Coordinator (2-point) is a temporary leadership role (up to 3 years) with release time, while your full-time teaching position remains permanent.



The role focuses on leading teaching excellence and improving learning outcomes across Years 7-12.

n

As a HSIE Coordinator, you work to ensure every student reaches their full potential through high-quality, collaborative and engaging pedagogy.

n

To excel in this role, you will be able to:

n

n
- create and implement engaging, rigorous planned learning experiences catering to the diverse needs of students
n
- demonstrate sound knowledge and qualifications in developing a 7-12 Curriculum and the application of effective learning pedagogies
n
- lead improvement, change and professional development of the HSIE team
n
- support the inclusive Catholic religious and cultural environment for students
n
- ensure curriculum compliance for HSIE
n
- communicate effectively and work collaboratively with all stakeholders
n
- demonstrate excellent classroom management skills focused on student well-being
n
- integrate technology to enhance contemporary learning experiences
n
- a tertiary qualification in Education and NESA accreditation
n
- Religious Education qualifications or the willingness to achieve them as per Accreditation Policy to Work, Teach, and Lead.
