Key Role and Responsibilities:
- Update, manage, and control driver rosters and schedules
- Scheduling vehicle loads and load plans within safety tolerances
- Schedule drivers’ runs accurately
- Update, manage, and control all dip rosters
- Identify and address any rostering or planning shortfalls with relevant management
- Collaborate within the team to ensure the accurate execution of schedules.
- Consulting with drivers throughout the day to ensure they are progressing well, meeting delivery schedule and staying within fatigue limits
- Provide weekly schedules for designated customers
- Enter incoming dip data from customers each morning
- Oversee and manage the Operations and Fleet email inboxes
- Consulting with customers regarding access conditions
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customer queries related to operations
- Data entry for Fuel companion
- Work co-operatively with Fleet Planner to ensure the most efficient and effective completion of the schedule
- Highlight inconsistencies in operational Data
- Reporting operational information to relevant management
- Monitoring all vehicles throughout daily operation
- Recording of demurrage data
- Airport pickup/drop-off.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in the transport industry is desired, including knowledge of driver fatigue management systems and mass loading laws.
Experience:
- 2 years previous experience in a similar role/industry desirable
Skills:
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Strong familiarity with Perth Metropolitan and regional areas.
- Strong interpersonal, communication and engagement skills
- Ability to convey information clearly and effectively.
- Ability to prioritise conflicting deadlines while under pressure.
- Ability to work well with others in a collaborative environment.
- Maintaining a positive and constructive attitude in the workplace
- Strong problem-solving abilities to provide solutions to challenges
- Well-developed computer skills and ability to learn current systems.
