About the RoleWe are seeking an organized, proactive, and hands-on Logistics Coordinator to join our team in Virginia, QLD. In this role, you will oversee our end-to-end site logistics, from the arrival of imported sea containers to final customer dispatch. You will be the key person managing our yard, inventory, and coordinating heavy transport (cranes/trucks) to ensure smooth daily operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Inbound Logistics & Unloading: Oversee the arrival of imported sea containers. Coordinate container de-stuffing (devanning), unloading, and stock verification.
- Site & Yard Management: Manage the daily operations of the yard at Virginia. Ensure the site is organized, safe, and optimized for incoming/outgoing heavy vehicles.
- Transport Coordination: Liaise and schedule with transport companies, crane operators, and truck drivers for timely pick-ups and drop-offs.
- Inventory Control: Maintain accurate inventory levels, conduct stocktakes, and manage warehouse storage space.
- Outbound Coordination: Manage customer orders, prepare dispatch documentation,



and coordinate final delivery logistics to ensure on-time fulfillment.

Skills and Experience Required

- Proven Experience: At least 2-3 years of experience in logistics coordination, yard management, or warehouse operations within Australia.
- Heavy Transport Liaison: Demonstrated experience coordinating with transport providers (semi-trailers, hiabs, cranes, etc.).
- Hands-on & Detail-oriented: Solid problem-solving skills with the ability to physically oversee container unloading and site operations.
- Systems & Communication: Proficient in inventory management systems and MS Excel. Excellent communication skills to coordinate with truck drivers, clients, and internal teams.

Pay: $30.00 – $38.00 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 per week
