GENERAL OBJECTIVES The Logistics Administrator primarily operates our freight facilities efficiently and according to security and safety requirements.
Logistics Administrator responsibilities include supporting all supply chain procedures, from coordinating freight to managing shipping documentation. The role also identifies customer concerns and offers practical solutions and develops leads to grow the business.
The Logistics Administrator reports directly to the Operations Manager and must protect and promote Crisis’ best interest at all times.
SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES
· Communicate with customers through various channels
· Plan and organise shipments based on service availability and customer requests
· Examine air freight, (re-)package if required and prepare and transparent cargo for uplift
· Prepare shipping documentation (i.e.,
customs or security declarations, AWB's, B/L's etc.)
· Coordinate our supply chain procedures to maximise quality of delivery
· Track and trace orders to ensure on-time deliveries
· Provide shipping updates to customers as required
· Maintain updated records of shipping documentations, suppliers and customers
· Maintain a positive and professional attitude towards customers continuously
· Respond promptly to customer enquiries, bookings and complaints
· Possess a full understanding of Crisis business products and values
· Report on successes and areas needing improvements incl. drivers without uniform
