Hays is partnering with a well-established manufacturing business seeking a reliable Machine Operator to join their team. This is an ongoing opportunity offering consistent Monday to Friday work in a factory environment, providing stable hours regardless of weather conditions. The role is available through to the end of the year, with potential for extension based on business needs.

Your recent role

Working within a busy production environment, you will be responsible for operating specialised machinery used in the manufacture of building products and materials. Your duties will include:

- Operating roll forming and folding machinery
- Producing flashings and related products to quality standards
- Monitoring machine performance and reporting issues
- Following production schedules and meeting output targets
- Maintaining a safe and organised work area
- Assisting with general production and warehouse duties as required

This position offers day shifts from 7:30am to 3:30pm, Monday to Friday. What you'll need to succeed To be successful in this role, you will have:

- A current Forklift Licence (LF) required




- Sound computer literacy and the ability to learn new systems
- Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn new machinery
- Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced production environment
- Reliable transport and a strong work ethic
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety

Previous experience operating roll forming equipment or similar manufacturing machinery will be highly regarded but is not essential for someone with the right attitude and willingness to learn. What you'll get in return
