About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Electrician to join our high-performing team at our salad processing facility in Bibra Lake.

This is a hands-on and varied role where you will use your electrical expertise to maintain, troubleshoot and improve plant and equipment, ensuring the site operates safely, efficiently and reliably.

Working closely with Production and other members of the Engineering team, you will provide responsive support across planned preventative maintenance, breakdowns, fault finding and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

- Ensure compliance with One Harvest Safety, Health & Environment requirements at all times.
- Plan, coordinate and complete preventative and corrective maintenance across the site.
- Respond to equipment breakdowns and prioritise repairs according to production requirements.
- Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults and implement effective repairs.
- Provide technical support and basic troubleshooting guidance to machine operators.
- Accurately record all maintenance activities, repairs and findings in the MEX CMMS.
- Identify opportunities to improve plant reliability, efficiency and equipment performance.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives, projects and equipment upgrades.
- Investigate plant and equipment issues that may contribute to out-of-specification finished products.




- Ensure maintenance activities are completed without compromising HACCP, GMP, food safety or product quality requirements.
- Assist the site in maintaining compliance with BRC and other relevant food safety and quality standards.
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised work environment.

About You

You will be a fully qualified Electrical Maintenance Technician/Electrician with experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing or FMCG environment.

You will ideally have

- Experience in electrical and mechanical maintenance, fault finding and equipment breakdowns.
- Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems and electrical schematics.
- Experience with PLC controls, variable speed drives (VSDs) and automated equipment.
- A sound understanding of pneumatic systems and general mechanical troubleshooting.
- The ability to diagnose, repair, modify and improve machinery.
- An understanding of HACCP, GMP and food manufacturing requirements.
- Robust problem-solving and analytical skills.
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team while also working independently when required.
- A proactive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Good communication skills and the ability to provide technical support to Production teams.
- Flexibility to work rotating rosters,



weekends and varying shifts as required.
