Maintenance Fitter

About the business

Rocbolt Resins Australia is seeking a versatile, trade-qualified Maintenance Fitter to join our maintenance team.

We are located in Smeaton Grange, approximately five minutes from the Narellan Road exit on the M5.

About the role

- Permanent, full-time position

- 40-hour week, Monday to Thursday

- Friday overtime may be available for production and maintenance work

- Occasional weekend work may be required for projects

- Join a small, supportive maintenance team of six people

- Work closely with maintenance, production and supervisory teams
- The company employs approximately 60 people and operates two production shifts

Duties and responsibilities

- Attend to equipment breakdowns

- Carry out preventative and reactive maintenance

- Complete daily and weekly equipment inspections

- Perform maintenance on a variety of plant and production equipment

- Identify and resolve faults involving pneumatic and hydraulic systems

- Communicate clearly with the Maintenance Manager, supervisors and senior production staff





- Work effectively as part of a team or independently when required

- Complete work safely and with a sense of urgency

- Maintain a high level of attention to detail and pride in your work

About you

You will be required to have:

- A relevant trade qualification or extensive experience as a Maintenance Fitter

- Experience in a similar maintenance role

- Experience working with pumps, filters and conveyors

- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- The ability to work safely and efficiently

- Good communication and teamwork skills
- A reliable and highly motivated approach

Desirable but not essential

- Electrical disconnect and reconnect qualification

- Welding and fabrication experience

- Forklift licence

- EWP training

- Confined-space training

- Working-at-heights training

- Experience operating milling machines or lathes
