What you'll do
As the Manager, Clinical Information and Analysis, you will lead the delivery, governance and continuous improvement of clinical information and ICT systems that support oral health services across Queensland Health. You will provide strategic leadership in application and data management, oversee complex IM/ICT change initiatives, and ensure compliance with Queensland Health standards, information security requirements and relevant legislation. Working closely with clinical stakeholders, information managers, eHealth Queensland, system developers and vendors, you will drive the effective implementation of system enhancements, improve business processes and data quality, and ensure the delivery of accurate and timely clinical information to support patient care and decision-making.
You will also provide expert advice on system design, operational support and oral health business requirements, while leading stakeholder engagement, change management and the ongoing optimisation of systems and services to achieve organisational objectives.
About you
We are searching for someone who has:
- Demonstrated highly developed ability in the management and technical leadership of a team within an application support setting servicing a large and complex clinical application to ensure strategic and operational performance targets are met.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate, liaise, and negotiate with internal and external ICT service providers to ensure defined service levels and requirements of the customer are met.
- Demonstrated troubleshooting skills in analysis of organisational, technical and application problems, and the documentation and development of associated strategies for resolution.
- Demonstrated high-level business and operational management skills and experience in working with HHS oral health management,
clinical and administration staff to implement and manage organisational change, organisational effectiveness and best practise initiatives at both strategic and operational levels.
