Cape York Institute for Policy and Leadership in Cairns, Queensland invites a Linguist to work with Ancestral Language Action Teams and the Pama Language Centre to record, revitalise and maintain ancestral languages across Cape York.

This role is ideal for someone cooperative, culturally respectful and committed to community‑led language revival, with strong linguistic research and documentation skills and a willingness to work on‑site in Cairns, with travel to remote communities as required.
