Be the Difference in a Young Person's Life

The Salvation Army is seeking compassionate and dedicated Youth Support Workers to join our Bundaberg team. You’ll provide practical, emotional and crisis support to young people experiencing homelessness, disadvantage and complex life circumstances. Working in a supportive 24/7 residential environment, you’ll play an important role in creating a secure and welcoming space where young people feel heard, respected and supported to achieve their goals.

What You'll Do As a Youth Support Worker, you will:

- Build positive, respectful and trusting relationships with young people
- Provide practical, emotional and crisis support in a 24/7 residential environment
- Support young people to develop independence, confidence and life skills
- Assist with implementing support plans and case management goals
