Our client is a well-established maintenance and engineering services provider supporting mining operations across Queensland. Known for delivering safe, reliable, and high-quality maintenance solutions, they specialise in fixed plant and CHPP maintenance and are committed to developing skilled tradespeople within the resources sector.

What You Will Be Doing

- Performing planned, preventative and breakdown maintenance on CHPP and wash plant equipment
- Maintaining conveyors, pumps, screens, crushers, gearboxes, valves and associated fixed plant assets
- Conducting fault finding, diagnostics and equipment repairs
- Supporting shutdown and maintenance campaigns
- Completing inspections and preventative maintenance activities
- Ensuring all work is completed safely and in accordance with site procedures




- Maintaining accurate maintenance records and documentation

What You Will Need

- Australian Recognised Mechanical Fitter Trade Qualification
- Current Standard 11
- Current Coal Board Medical
- Previous experience working within CHPP, wash plant, fixed plant, or heavy industrial environments
- Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
- Current Driver's Licence
- Demonstrated commitment to workplace health and safety
- Ability to work effectively within a team workplace

Highly Regarded

- Previous CHPP maintenance experience
- Working at Heights and Confined Space tickets
- High Risk Work Licences
- Shutdown maintenance experience
- Experience within coal mining operations
