What you'll do

As an In Store Format Marketing Planner at Woolworths Support Office in Norwest, you will bridge strategic marketing and physical execution by designing customer-led point-of-sale, signage, and connected shopper journeys across Supermarkets and Metro stores. Reporting to the Senior Manager of ISM & Development, the role requires collaborating with cross-functional teams - including Brand, Merchandising, and Store Operations - to translate brand initiatives into actionable, high-impact store toolkits while balancing creative design with strict commercial rigor to maximize campaign ROI.

- Support and execute in-store and Local Area Marketing (LAM) strategies for new store launches, renewals, and format developments across Supermarkets and Metros.
- Define and optimize the role and placement of point-of-sale (POS) and permanent signage to inspire, educate, and seamlessly guide the customer journey.

- Drive key business enablement initiatives - such as Scan & Go Trolleys and stock loss projects - while reviewing signage schemes for continuous process improvement.
- Partner with insights, category, and Format Development teams early in the design process to develop customer-led brand navigation and clear in-store marketing guides.
- Oversee store signage plans and campaign execution to ensure alignment across both store renewals and the wider fleet network.
- Collaborate with internal commercial, brand, and state teams, as well as agency partners, to deliver creative, compliant, and cost-effective outcomes.
- Analyse project effectiveness and ROI while managing allocated budgets to maximise financial impact and support sales recovery targets.

What you'll bring

- 3–5 years of retail marketing experience with proven exposure to campaign production, in-store execution, and POS management.
- Solid strategic and analytical skills, with a demonstrated ability to turn customer insights into effective shopper engagement strategies.
- Solid experience managing agency relationships, translating complex briefs into creative assets, and managing end-to-end production workflows.
- Proven commercial acumen, including budget management, financial tracking, and evaluating campaign ROI.
- Exceptional stakeholder management and collaborative skills to influence cross-functional teams, agency partners, and store operations.

- Highly organised, proactive, and pragmatic mindset with the ability to manage multiple complex workstreams simultaneously.
- Ability to mentor junior team members and the flexibility to travel interstate or work outside standard hours to support key store launches.

What you’ll experience
- A global business with endless career possibilities around every corner and across every discipline – with valuable exposure to a vast and exciting business network
- Access to Sonder. Sonder provides free confidential 24/7 personalised financial, medical safety, psychological or physical support for team members and their families
