About the role

Potential assignments may include shutdowns, fixed plant maintenance, construction and commissioning activities across WA mine sites.

Key responsibilities

- Fixed plant maintenance and mechanical installation
- Pumps, gearboxes, bearings, conveyors and drive assemblies
- Pulley and shaft alignment
- Removal and installation of mechanical components
- Flange management and bolted connections
- Fault finding and breakdown maintenance

About you

- Previous mining, heavy industrial or fixed plant experience
- Cert III Mechanical Trade (AU/NZ recognised)
- Construction white card
- Current Working at Heights, Confined Space & Gas Test (within 2 years)
- Solid commitment to safety
- National Police Clearance within 12 months, or ability to obtain
- Current WA Driver's Licence
- Full Australian working rights or Visa + Passport
- Ability to complete client medical and drug & alcohol screening
- Currently Roy Hill, RIO, BHP, FMG inducted is highly regarded
