A thriving, well-established Medical Practice in Double Bay is seeking an enthusiastic Receptionist for a part-time permanent or casual position on Tuesdays (7.30am-4pm), Wednesdays (7.30am-1pm) and Thursdays (7.30am-4.00pm).

Medical Receptionist:

Responsible for providing first class customer service to our patients, you must be able to work in a quick-paced environment whilst maintaining attention to detail and effective time management. Your responsibilities will include:

- Meeting and greeting patients
- Booking appointments
- Answering a high volume of calls and emails
- Managing and updating the practice database, including billing patients




- Liaising with our GPs as well as external clinicians and providers

What we are looking for:

- Customer service and/or administrative experience
- Outstanding interpersonal skills with a positive, friendly attitude
- The ability to multi-task, prioritise and manage your time in a fast-paced environment with meticulous attention to detail
- Computer literacy - intermediate MS Office skills and an aptitude for learning new software
- A highly professional work ethic with compassion and commitment to patient care
- An ability to work well within a diverse team

Previous medical reception experience is desirable, however we are willing to train the right applicant. We need someone who is available to work shifts on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays - and ideally you will have the flexibility to cover other shifts if needed.

You will be supported by a progressive and highly professional team and work alongside experienced and dedicated medical practitioners.
