Welder / Metal Fabricator – Full Time

Family-owned Australian manufacturer seeking a skilled Welder/Fabricator to join our workshop team.

We design and build a high-quality, Australian-made product that we are proud of. This is a hands-on role in a comfortable, well-equipped family workshop with a small, down-to-earth team.

The role

- Full-time position with regular overtime available
- Fabricate and weld mild steel components (1.5 mm – 5 mm)
- Operate workshop machinery
- Read drawings and work to tight tolerances
- Produce quality frames and assemblies for our workbenches

What we’re looking for

- Proven experience welding and fabricating mild steel in the 1.5 mm – 5 mm range
- Solid understanding of workshop machine operation




- Ability to work accurately and take pride in the finished product
- Reliable, safety-conscious and able to work as part of a small team

Bonuses (not essential)

- TIG welding experience
- Brake press operation

- $40 – $50 per hour (depending on experience and skill)
