About the role

Upscale Contracting is seeking a Mezzanine Floor Installation Supervisor to join our growing team in Sydney, NSW. Must have own vehicle,forklift licence and experience in construction. This is a full time position that offers an exciting prospect to oversee the installation and supervision of mezzanine floor projects across various commercial and industrial sites. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.

As Mezzanine Floor Installation

Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our reputation for excellence whilst leading your team to deliver outstanding results on complex structural projects.

Key responsibilities

- Supervise and coordinate all aspects of mezzanine floor installation projects from commencement to completion
- Manage and oversee on-site installation teams, ensuring adherence to schedules, budgets and quality standards
- Conduct daily toolbox meetings and site briefings to communicate project objectives and safety requirements
- Inspect materials, equipment and workmanship to ensure compliance with specifications and industry standards
- Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers and other contractors to ensure seamless project delivery
- Maintain comprehensive site documentation, including daily reports, progress records and safety logs
- Identify and resolve on-site issues promptly to minimise delays and maintain project momentum
- Ensure all health and safety protocols are implemented and maintained throughout the installation process
- Monitor project budgets and resource allocation to optimise efficiency and profitability




- Train and mentor junior supervisory and installation staff to develop team capability

What we're looking for

- Proven experience in mezzanine floor installation or similar structural steelwork supervision roles (minimum 5 years)
- Demonstrated expertise in reading and interpreting technical drawings, specifications and engineering plans
- Strong knowledge of construction safety regulations, codes of practice and relevant Australian Standards
- Excellent leadership and team management capabilities with the ability to motivate and develop staff
- Proficiency in project management, scheduling and budget control
- Solid understanding of structural systems, load-bearing principles and installation methodologies
- Advanced communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with diverse stakeholders
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure
- Physical fitness and capability to perform site-based duties and regular on-site inspections
- Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel to various sites across Sydney and surrounding regions
- Relevant qualifications such as White Card (or equivalent) and Forklift licence
- Experience with construction management software or project tracking systems is advantageous
