Mine Site Support Operator – Pressure Cleaning & Pit Escort

Looking for a secure Monday–Friday role in mining? Want your weekends back? Northwest Mining is looking for a Mine Site Support Operator to join our team working at a mine site near Singleton, NSW.

This is a hands-on role combining pit vehicle escorting, light vehicle operation and industrial pressure cleaning across the mine site.

About the Role

Working Monday to Friday at a mine site near Singleton, your day-to-day duties will include:

- Escorting vehicles and contractors through operational and pit areas
- Driving light vehicles throughout the mine site
- Pressure cleaning mine infrastructure and equipment
- Operating pressure washing and industrial cleaning equipment
- Completing equipment pre-starts and basic checks
- Maintaining clean and safe work areas
- Completing required site paperwork and reporting
- Identifying hazards and following mine site safety procedures
- Working with site personnel and supervisors to complete scheduled works safely and efficiently





Who We’re Looking For

Ideally, you will have:

- Previous mine site and/or pit exposure
- A current pit driving licence/authority or the ability to obtain one
- Current Australian Driver Licence
- Confidence driving light vehicles in an operational mine environment
- A strong understanding of workplace safety
- Good communication skills and the ability to follow site procedures
- A reliable, practical and hands-on approach to work
- Physical fitness and willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
- Ability to work Monday to Friday

Previous pressure washing or industrial cleaning experience would be advantageous, but for the right person with good mine site experience, training can be provided.
